Saras-3D is a unique hands-on learning solution which allows students to interact with virtual objects and really understand the science behind them . It is designed to help 9th to 12th graders excel in science and mathematics more efficiently by picking up style of learning that allows them to "learn by doing"
To celebrate the first National Space Day on August 23, Saras-3D will showcase a stereoscopic 3D version of the landing at ISRO's Vikram Sarabhai Space Exhibition in Ahmedabad, led by Mr. Kashyap Mankad.
The historic landing of Chandrayaan 3 on the previously unexplored southern pole of the Moon has inspired Science enthusiasts and the general population all over the world. The event cemented India’s significant progress in Space Tech and the impactful contributions led by the brilliant minds at Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).
To commemorate 1 year of the landing of Chandrayaan 3 on the lunar south pole, the Indian Government has declared August 23 as National Space Day in India. The first ever National Space Day celebrations are taking place at various important locations all over the country. The theme this year is ‘Touching lives while touching the Moon: India’s Space Saga’. Seminars, space exhibitions and open house events are planned as part of the programmes.
Saras-3D is proud to announce that we have been invited by ISRO at Vikram Sarabhai Space Exhibition, Ahmedabad, Gujarat to showcase our stereoscopic 3D version of Chandrayaan 3 landing. Our VP & GM, Mr. Kashyap Mankad, who also retired as Group Director, Electro-Optical Systems Group, Space Applications Center, ISRO, will be leading the showcase on 23rd August, 2024.
We invite you to join us as we present our 3D stereoscopic content to the nation at the prestigious ISRO campus in Ahmedabad, and also celebrate the first ever National Space Day.
